I'm CousinShelley at AO3.

A shorter section than some others doesn't mean I love or want a fandom any less. It only means it's probably a newer request and I haven't come up with many ideas yet.

I offer a lot of prompts and mention what I like about the dynamics because it's fun for me to talk about them. If none of my prompts appeal, that's fine!

Things I Like

Red River: Matthew Garth/Cherry Valance

Montgomery Clift and John Ireland with gun belts slung around their narrow hips while they handle and admire each other's weapons. That's it. That's the movie.

Okay, unfortunately that's not the whole movie, and John Ireland isn't in the film nearly as much as I would have liked. But the scenes they share are so charged with sexual tension and what seem to be knowing looks. The minute Cherry Valance appears, he immediately starts eye-fucking Matt and it never seems to end.

Behold:

I love the idea of them making innuendos and flirting to the point that they're desperate for a moment of privacy to act on their feelings. More of the innuendo from the film (I've taken a liking to his gun, ffs) would be fantastic too.

Hurt/comfort would be great in a scenario where one is injured and the other takes care of them like after an accidental shooting, being trampled by cattle, thrown from a horse or something that could happen on a cattle drive. A post-canon fix-it where Garth nurses Cherry back to health after he's shot and feelings are acted on wouldn't go amiss, believe me.

Being trapped together for some reason whether to hide or weather or storm would be great, as would having to share a bed or bedroll or any kind of forced proximity.

One of them accidentally seeing the other masturbate and being unable to stop thinking about it could lead to a great story, as could one seeing the other and getting involved, either watching or joining in, or it leading to mutual masturbation or more.

The list of freeforms I chose for this in an old request serves as a good idea of the kind of things I'd like for them. Each one is essentially a prompt, but feel free to write whatever idea you have!

Severance: Peter Kilmer/Mark Scout

I love Severance so much. Feel free to include any characters you might want to. And if you're trying to write one couple but nothing's coming, I'm perfectly okay with a plotty ensemble piece as long the pairing's in there and there's at least some clear romantic and/or sexual tension between them

I would love to see flashes of Mark and Petey's friendship at Lumon, how they got so close and how they got closer than the show had them get. I'd love to see anything from secret pining to stolen moments at work to Petey and/or Mark remembering bits and pieces of those things while Peter is staying in Mark's basement. 

  • Maybe while he's staying there, longer than in canon, Mark gets an innate sense that he's trustworthy and not crazy, and things start to develop that they resisted before.
  • One of them has to do the apology ritual or some other weird Lumon punishment and the other comforts them afterward.
  • Pete is in Mark's basement and remembers their affair but Mark doesn't, so as things heat up between them, the closer they get, the more something pushes against Mark's memory. If he doesn't necessarily remember specifics, he can come to know that something is very wrong.
  • Mark accidentally sees Peter masturbating at work and that starts something between them. Mark can be as conflicted at first as you want. Or vice versa and Pete catches him.
  • While Pete's in Mark's basement, Mark starts to remember their relationship at Lumon in flashes.
  • As things heat up between them while Pete's in Mark's basement, they realize how familiar it feels and the way they kiss and touch each other seems to be muscle memory, so they know something happened before.
  • Hurt/comfort can never go wrong. In caring for Peter, Mark starts to have feelings that seem oddly familiar and Peter reveals that they were lovers, or really anything that leads them to get together in this kind of a scenari.
  • Pete is in a much better state than in the show and starts running into Mark on purpose and trying to attract his attention without Mark knowing he's from Lumon, and it works. He wants Mark, and he also wants to gain his trust so he can convince him to get away from the place.
  • Pete tells Mark they were lovers, and Mark thinks Pete's out to scam him or something, so Peter slowly convinces him by showing him that he knows exactly how Mark like to be kissed and touched reveals he knows other non-sexual secrets and quirks he has.
  • Petey lives and finds Mark when his innie is at the book party and they have an emotional reunion.
  • Innies have to be touch-starved, so anything that plays into that would be great, whether a scene of them at work or Peter trying to make Mark remember on the outside, even just having him close his eyes and feel the way Pete touches his face or something, maybe like the first time they did anything together in the hopes it will break something loose, and it does
  • Heck, just a day in the life at Lumon when Peter was there would be great. Anything exploring things we didn't get to see!

What We Do in the Shadows, Laszlo Cravensworth/Sean Rinaldi

I love these two so much. Every time I hear a "Hey, Laz!" or "Seaneeaaaay" it brings me joy. I'd rather not get a PWP for this (though sex is fine!) because I'd love to see them get together in a way that makes sense for the show. Just please don't bash Nadja or Charmaine. Sean and Laszlo can still adore their wives (and Nadja wouldn't even care).

I've loved this entire show from the first episode, so I'd love a similar tone and sense of humor rather than anything too angst-filled or serious.

  • I know Sean didn't seem interested when Laszlo moved to kiss him, but maybe he was just caught off-guard and regretted it later and keeps trying to find a way to let Laszlo know? I can see it being a comedy of errors with Laszlo misinterpreting his advances until he finally figures it out
  • Or maybe a scenario where Laszlo moving in to kiss him never happened and instead he keeps feeling Sean out, mentioning same-sex couples or gay celebrities or otherwise bringing it up and touting it like it's the best thing since sliced bread to try to read his reaction before doing anything
  • I'm okay with something like Charmaine making Sean sleep in the garage because of his drinking or temporarily kicking him out over it, or leaving temporarily, and Sean ends up staying next door with Laszlo to help him through his domestic turmoil.
  • I'm also okay with Sean being drunk when he makes a pass as long as it's something he still wants sober.
  • The couples could take a trip to the cabin, and let it be assumed that maybe Nadja and Charmaine are spending some quality lady time together, so Sean and Laszlo having some alone time too.
  • Maybe something Laszlo's great at surprises Sean by turning him on. Showing off his Jackie Daytona bartending skills, or preventing a pack of wolves or coyotes from attacking them with his mental skills if they're out in the woods, his topiary skills, just about anything would be fun.
  • I could see things happening after the pride parade, what with Sean's enthusiasm over the whole thing.
  • I also really like the idea that maybe they go something together while Laszlo's out in the sun and things happen. His first time getting off under the sun for hundreds of years could be fun.
  • What about all the time it was just Laszlo and Boy Colin there? Did Sean come over and try to help him do maintenance on the house? There are a lot of possibilities while everyone else was gone for so long.

Riptide: Cody Allen/Nick Ryder

Nick and Cody are constantly in each other's personal bubble in a way that would feel awkward to most people, even the closest of friends. The whole show is like they're lovers who just haven't figured that out yet. When one sits down the other practically sits in his lap, and neither of them bat an eye. 

And of course they've been there for each other through thick and thin, took care of each other in Vietnam, live together, sleep in the same room and even work together. There's only one way for them to get closer, and if you want to go there I will be on board, but it's also great if you write them getting to shippy without sex. 

Feel free to include Murray if you want.  I do like him being able to see that they love each other before the guys do and either doing nothing or nudging them ever so slightly towards each other. Them having to rescue him is always a winner too, or him teaming with one of the guys to rescue the other. But it's purely and & relationship. I don't want Boz romantically linked to either Nick or Cody, but he's free to have a love interest of any gender within the story as long as it's not one of them.

I'd really rather avoid a bunch of angst about being gay or bi in the 80s, but I do like when one is afraid to make it known because they worry about damaging the friendship, and the happiness when it's revealed that of course nothing could damage the friendship and they felt the same all along, yay!

I love first times for them, all the getting together scenarios, whether with just revelation of feelings or all the way to sexy times. 

  • Peril and concern for each other, like one getting kidnapped for some reason and the other frantic to rescue them. And if the cops think the kidnapped one is dead but the other refuses to give up and accept that, I love that kind of stuff. One rescuing the other, doesn't matter which is which, is great.
  • Undercover as gay is a winner here. Maybe they have to pretend to be a couple for a case and it makes them realize some things. And if they're in a hotel or somewhere and, oh no, there's only one bed, all the better. Sex isn't necessary for me to enjoy the story even in a bedsharing situation, but if you want to write, I'll enjoy it!
  • Being mistaken as a couple by someone on the outside, a new person they're helping with a case, and that person explaining why they thought that could be good. Someone pointing out that straight heterosexual guys don't generally sit almost in each other's laps when there are several feet of space on either side of them might make them realize some things.
  • PTSD nightmares and flashbacks that have the other person comforting them, particularly with bedsharing, is great. I like one dreaming of the other dying and waking up frantic to grab ahold of him to assure himself he's okay. Lots of touching, holding, grabbing, that kind of thing. They're very handsy with each other, so more of that!
  • One gets shot while they're on a case, and they can't get to help right away so the other has to take care of them until help comes.
  • In any kind of danger situation, the whole "not him, take me instead" thing is fantastic both for the self-sacrifice of it but what it does to the other person. I like a lot of angst, as long as there's a happy ending. Also a fan of one being tortured to hurt the other in a hostage/kidnapping situation where they're trying to get information about something or just revenge, as long as the hurt one is rescued before it gets too bad.
  • For a lighter story, maybe the guys get invited to some conference and though they have the opportunity to date a couple gorgeous women, they prefer to hang out together instead. Feel free to have Murray there, maybe he drags them to something they're not looking forward to, and end up going off alone to do the same kinds of things they'd do on the Riptide, and start to realize what that means.
  • One getting jealous over the other is always great, as long as it ends up resolved with them together.

The Exorcist: Marcus Keane/Tomas Ortega

I don't care whether you choose S1 or S2 or go post-canon, with a new take on something that's already happened or a brand new situation altogether. And I'm always up for them saving Bennett post S-2 if you want to toss him in. Lord, somebody save Devon Bennett. If you want to throw other characters like Mouse, the Regos, the Rances or Andy and any of the kids from S2, that's perfectly fine, but don't feel you have to. As long as Marcus and Tomas are in there and it shows their devotion to one another (the more hand-clasping and nape-touching, the better, I will be happy.

Fandom-specific DNWs: Don't make god a hero in the story. No divine intervention that saves the day, please. References to canon Marcus/Peter and Tomas/Jessica are fine.

Prompts for ideas, but feel free to write something else!

  • Marcus doesn't leave Tomas at the end but stays to help him through what will surely be some post-demon PTSD. Okay, I want there to be post-demon PTSD, not sorry. The hurt/comfort is strong with these two.
  • I love nightmares and the hurt caused by them especially when there's someone close to by to offer comfort afterward. A dream or series of them where first-season dark Marcus is whispering things in Tomas' ear would be good, too. Or possessed-Marcus does it when awake, and it can lead to some sort of seduction or not, dubconny in the no-no-yes vein or not (but no non-con). How would they deal with it afterward? Even a situation where it almost happens but doesn't is ripe for some great introspection and character/relationship stuff.
  • I really like the idea of one or the other having those intense dreams where the other menaces them in the sexiest of ways, and each night the dreams escalate, and they start to have trouble separating reality from their dreams when they wake up so they might do or say things that would not be forward with the dream other but are unexpected in real life, and the one not affected has to suss out what's going on.
  • If Marcus were convinced that god was sending him a message that loving someone and expressing that through sex wouldn't make him less of an exorcist, that'd be really great. Tomas might point out that he'd know if that were evil with his newfound skills and all.
  • Just about anything--post-exorcism conversation and comfort (I loved the bar scene at the end of season 1), navigating each other's spaces, a story about something they did together between S1 and S2, investigating the church.
  • Any hurt/comfort scenario, expansion on any episode from either season, or any situation where one or the other is possessed and fighting it to keep from hurting the other and has to be exorcised. I truly love that stuff.
  • A lighter story that involves Marcus teaching Tomas his ways, maybe with Tomas messing up quite a lot, and them not entirely exhausted all the time or in danger would be great, too. As long as there's obvious shippy affection between them, even if they're both fighting it, and lots of touching and standing far too close together, I'm down.
  • Dubcon where the demons decide that helping/pushing Marcus and Tomas to get together will destroy them through guilt or whatever, but nope, it just makes them stronger (after some initial guilt and hand-wringing, probably).
  • Either Tomas or Marcus hurt and in the hospital--I'm amazed most of the show wasn't one of them recuperating in a hospital bed, frankly--with the other by their side.

1899: Eyk Larson/Daniel Solace

They both care for Maura, and I'm fine with that being what attracts them to each other as sort of a proxy relationship with her or if it has nothing to do with her. Either works, but please don't think they have to turn against her for some reason to be with each other.

There's so much potential for jealous, angry eye-fucking, kissing, actual fucking, that I'm light on prompts for this and it's more that round-headed drawing that's always trying to push two people's faces together. I'd be as happy with no sex and just sexual tension too!

I'm a fan of forced proximity, and that seems easy to achieve here. They could get trapped together in each other's memory places or just in some part of the ship or larger world.

Maybe during a moment of peril one saves the other, when it would have been easy not to and have that rival out of the picture. But one saves the other anyway and that changes things between them so that it's clear it's not just their affection for Maura that's bonding them but affection for each other.

The two of them trying to figure things out (or at least Eyk trying even if you write it so that Daniel knows) solving some mystery together and getting closer as they do.

I'm also completely open to post-canon and how they meet, how they have a different dynamic depending on how much is retained. Or a situation where they've met before, maybe once or many times in some loop, and Daniel remembers but Eyk doesn't, so there's sort of a reveal as Daniel keeps pulling him closer to the truth.

I was so disappointed at this show ending, especially without much resolution, that I'm going to enjoy just about any direction you want to go.

Dark: Jonas Kahnwald/Jonas Kahnwald, Jonas Kahnwald/Noah

Oh god, the mind games in this show! The time travel fuckery! For Jonas/Jonas, the idea of teenage Jonas and Stranger!Jonas getting together is so appealing, because who knows the pain in store better than the Stranger, and that's going to affect how he regards himself. If you wanted to write Jonas/Jonas as Adam and a younger version of himself, that would be fascinating too, given all that has happened.

Adam/Noah is also full of possibility, and frankly I just think Stranger!Jonas/Noah would be hot as hell.

Stranger!Jonas' pain when he's in the now-times just gets to me, and what he must think and feel when faced with his younger self, knowing what's to come at least for a while, is so rich with possibilities. His love and devotion to Martha doesn't need to be removed or ignored, I love Jonas/Martha, but it's okay not to reference it too, so however you want to handle that is fine.

But he has to have affection or at least sympathy and compassion for his younger self, and maybe he expresses that. Maybe young Jonas is drawn to him and doesn't know why.

Maybe he tries to lead his younger self down a different path, so they spend (probably cryptic) time together. Or maybe seduction is the kind of distration Stranger!Jonas provides to keep Jonas from changing or securing a particular timeline of events.

Maybe young Jonas is so drawn to the Stranger and has some need he doesn't understand to provide comfort.

Stranger!Jonas/Noah, especially Noah during his pretend-priest years, is appealing on so many levels. Being at odds, the conflict, Noah's feelings about younger Jonas and later betrayals and later seeing Jonas as such a visionary. It's such a jumble of emotions that anything involving both of them could be so good!

Noah's desire to have his daughter back and the belief that Adam!Jonas can give him that could lead to so much, like thinking that him somehow convincing Stranger!Jonas of what he thinks is the correct path (to be Adam) can speed up the process. Maybe Stranger!Jonas tries to the opposite, to appeal to Noah's better nature and convince him to be on Jonas' side.

Or it can just be years of unresolved sexual tension and attraction that bring them together (on their own, or through some Adam-style manipulation, as long as the feelings are real).

I don't need a happy ending for this necessarily or a happily ever after. They can part with the assumption that the rest of the show will play out as it did before. Or you can go another way and have whatever happens between either pairing change the future, or not imply anything either way!

Inside Men: Ahn Sang Goo/Woo Jang Hoon

If you're unfamiliar with this but interested, Sang-goo is an appearance-conscious gangster who trusts the wrong father-figureish person and gets his hand chopped off for his trouble. Jang-hoon is a prosecutor down about his lack of connections and opportunities for advancement who ends up saving Sang-goo's life and protecting him from the people who want him out of the way for good. Jang-hoon takes him to stay with his father because presumably no one would find him there, and Dad takes to Sang-goo right away and tells him to take care of his son which, wow, was not expecting that.

It's a really shippy film, lots of close-talking and shouting in each other's faces, and guilt and regret about the way things are happening, and a beautiful friendship in the end where gangster has become a term of endearment instead of an insult. The leads have tons of chemistry.

It's a fun movie with a couple of unholily sexy guys, with action, intrigue, humor and sex appeal oozing out of everywhere. I have only seen the 2 hour version, though I would dearly love to see the 3+ hour director's cut. I haven't read the comic it was originally based on, either. But I do love the film! It's always fun to see the bad guys get their comeuppance too.

I would appreciate there not being much fart or constipation humor. There's not much in the film, granted, but skip that kind of thing please.

  • I love that after Jang-hoon saves Sang-goo's life, he protects him by taking him first to what might be a love hotel (though maybe not, but the bed is pink) and then taking him to stay with his father where he sleeps in Jang-hoon's childhood room. Does he find they had the same actor crush, or maybe he finds a secret diary from his childhood, anything personal that could lead to revealing conversations?
  • The fact that they're in a romantic looking hotel when Sang-goo wakes up from his beating screams possibilities to me. After Sang-goo is a little healed, of course. Angry flirting. All the angry things. They're already so oddly familiar-acting with each other despite being so at odds. Jang-hoon scratching his forehead and brushing back his hair with Sang-goo's prosthetic hand seems like it's supposed to be a mocking thing, but it comes off more strange and intimate to me, like there's already a grudging sort of connection between them, too. Those little moments like that between them are so great, so something like that would be fantastic.
  • And I love so many of the getting-together tropes. Omg there's only one bed! Omg we have to pretend to be a couple for reasons! Omg one has a nightmare and the other holds them to comfort them! Omg we're stuck together in hiding while x happens! It's hard to go wrong with that kind of thing.
  • Maybe Sang-goo needs a little more actual care after he's beaten. Doesn't need to be anything sexual here if you'd rather not, because plain old hurt/comfort is my jam. Maybe Sang-goo has to save Jang-hoon at some point, in a similar situation where he needs some TLC afterwards.
  • Sang-goo's always shoving huge quantities of boiling hot food into his mouth. His tendency toward a lack of patience when it comes to putting things in his mouth could be played up for fun, I think. He's always either eating, drinking or smoking. Oral fixation? Or more serious, did he go hungry as a kid so he has the tendency to be gluttonous until he's satisfied because he never knew when the next food would be or something? Jang-hoon's father could notice this when he's there and get a story out of him in front of Jang-hoon or raise the suspicion, or maybe it comes out some other way.
  • Post-canon, give me the dinner scene after Sang-goo shows up at his office. What do they talk about? What do they give each other a hard time about? Has Sang-goo kept in better touch with Jang-hoon's father than Jang-hoon? Maybe somebody needs to be pampered and it becomes obvious the more time they spend together that night, and things OCCUR.
  • I love it when they're being assholes to each other, which is a lot. More of that, each giving as good as he gets and not letting the other get one up on him. Their rivalry and growing friendship throughout the movie is such a blast, and a growing affect and obvious UST would be as much fun.
  • I also really like the idea of hurt/comfort post-canon. Maybe Sang-goo had a hard time in prison (having his food taken, getting knocked around here and there, afraid to sleep because you don't know what could happen, etc. NOT prison rape, but it's okay to allude the possibility he had to be aware of and his fear of it interfering with his ability to sleep) and Jang-hoon is there for him while he recovers. I like the idea of a friendly offer of a place to stay until he sorts things out and Jang-hoon discovering his problems that way somehow, through nightmares, insomnia, startling him awake accidentally and freaking him out, whatever. Let Jang-hoon try to make him feel safe.

Train to Busan: Sang-hwa/Seok-woo

Anything that doesn't bash or kill Seong-kyeong while getting these two together would be great. I don't care if they somehow found a moment during the film, or it's just charged dialogue and looks that makes clear that they will find a moment eventually, as long as neither of them dies in the story. It doesn't have to be a fix-it with post-canon that changes the ending (though I would love that too), but if it's set before the end of the film, please don't allude to the canon deaths.

Any other characters, including Seong-kyeong and Soo-an are welcome if you want. I think there's great potential for hurt/comfort, forced proximity, protectiveness, one putting himself in danger to save the other, and so many fun tropes.

  • I think the situation their in would make it hard to do much, but it does raise some interesting possibilities, like being trapped together in one of the small toilets and unable to leave because of the horde of zombies right outside with no choice but to wait for them to move on. Both of them knowing that they're likely to die no matter what they do could present an opportunity for one last hurrah, so to speak.
  • Just one saving the other and the hugs and longing looks will be enough to thrill me. Being afraid for the other in a tense situation and the relief afterward that leads to a hug and/or a kiss and some sign that the attraction is mutual, I swear, I'll shout with joy.
  • Fix-it! Get them out of the situation alive with some obvious affection and attraction. Maybe they managed to get into one of the trains and head for Busan after all, and during the trip they get a moment alone together.
  • Or maybe one or both is bitten but doesn't turn before helicopters swoop in and rescue them or something, or they go to Busan with a plan in place for the other or Seong-kyeong to shoot them if they turn, and is ushered into a holding area on arrival to be given a drug that's supposed to stop it. The unbitten one demanding to stay with them for protection with the promise to bring him home safely to his wife or daughter could be nice, or both are bitten and given the cure and doubled up into a holding cell.
  • I also think it'd be interesting if they'd hooked up before and had regrets that they hadn't seen each other in a while, obviously hiding it from the ones who don't know, and let their guard down when they're alone.

The Endless: Aaron/Hal/Justin, Aaron/Justin, Hal/Justin

I've watched this movie and Resolution enough times that you should feel free to use any characters and/or references from either that you want to. I love how the creepiness and mystery build with implication and lack of information rather than spelling everything out, so I don't need hard answers about anything plot-related.

This fandom is an exception to my DNWs of major character death (as long as they loop back) and self-harm/suicide, as long as it's to reset a loop.

The relationship between Justin and Aaron is fascinating and codependent, and any exploration of that will be a winner. Justin got him out of the cult and takes care of him, but he's got such strange ways of protecting him, like telling him that all the men in the cult are castrated and that Anna is a pedophile who paid Aaron too much attention when he was little. The sexual nature of so many of his lies and exaggerations make one wonder things, like maybe he's got feelings he's trying to suppress and he does so with unpleasant sexual information and references, or why else? 

Was everything okay until Justin started to worry that Aaron might be interested in someone else in the camp, and leaving was partly prompted by him wanting Aaron to himself? Or did he want that and worry that Hal or someone else might realize his feelings for his brother and shame him, so they left? 

What's Hal's whole deal and the way he looks at the brothers, especially Justin? And the way Anna stares daggers at Hal sometimes, like when he wanted Justin to join in and take the rope? Fill in the blanks and/or just get some people together.

  • I like Justin having great reasons to take Aaron and leave (I mean, it is a cult waiting for an alien/entity to take them away, and all), but a hint of his jealousy or possessiveness factoring into it makes it even more interesting to me. 
  • Maybe Hal or someone else figured out how Justin felt about Aaron and didn't discourage him because when the cult members came of age they all shared more than beer and it would be accepted, and maybe Justin didn't want that for Aaron because he hated the thought of anyone else being with him. Maybe Aaron was jealous of Justin's relationship (innocent or not) with Hal or someone else and acting out, so they left. Maybe Aaron was supposed to be with Anna because the cult said so or something, and Justin didn't want that.
  • If you want to set something after the film, do they wake up back in the camp one day and have to leave all over again? Do they somehow figure out they're in a time loop that may go back even as far as the car accident? Does Justin wonder if they're dead and in some time-loop purgatory and question reality altogether? Is being out of the camp the dream and his nightmare of being stuck there his reality? Does the entity send them messages beyond the video of the cult saying goodbye?
  • Aaron dies in the camp and Justin has to push into the time loop premise to try to go back and save him. I know I DNW major character death, but this is an exception because we’ll assume he will eventually not stay dead and that Justin will save him and brak them out. The story can go that far, or he can get through loop once, rescue Aaron, and Aaron dies again as long as it ends with the clear indication that Justin’s going around again, and he knows eventually he’ll get it right. Alternately, Justin dies and Aaron has to save him in the same way.
  • Any missing scene would be great, whether between the brothers or dealing with one pining for or being jealous or possessive of the other. I thought there was amazing chemistry between Justin and Hal and ship them too. Maybe when Hal takes Justin to show him the equation, Aaron gets jealous because he thinks one or both want to be with the other. I think seeing one or both of them more jealous than was shown in the film. I don’t think Justin’s jealousy was romantic or sexual in the film, but he clearly wants to be the focus of Aaron’s attention, so leaning hard into that and taking it further into romantic or sexual desire would be great. 
  • Maybe Aaron knows Justin is in love with him/wants him and even though they're both conflicted, he likes it and flirts extra hard with Hal to try to push Justin to admit it or show it more openly. Or Justin does the flirting in the hopes of getting a reaction from Aaron. They don't communicate well with words, so these things fit with their characters, IMO. 
  • The entity likes to send them things. What if it sent Justin photos or video of Aaron having sex with someone else? Hal, another cult member, or a total stranger? Justin hides that he knows but seethes with jealousy and hurt (and guilt for wanting his brother), and when they have a confrontation about it, it turns out that the images are the fantasies Aaron has about Justin with other people plugged in. Maybe pre- or post-film the entity sends Justin video where Aaron is talking to him through it and confessing that he wants him, maybe while touching himself or something. Doesn’t Justin believe it’s real or doubt it? What happens? There are so many possibilities in this universe. 
  • I also really like the idea that the entity makes it clear that if Justin doesn't have sex with Aaron, someone else is going to because it’s going to make that happen whether Aaron wants it or not (and maybe it’s someone Aaron’s afraid of, or dislikes). So Justin's essentially forced into sleeping with him while secretly wanting that anyway (and Aaron wanting it too, deep down), and both think the other is probably horrified, then SURPRISE, they're not (after plenty of angst, of course).  This can be while in the camp, or maybe even after they’re out the entity still has a hold on them. 
  • I like the idea of Justin and Aaron getting separated into two of the zones in the camp. They get desperate and maybe even pray to whatever force is causing it to reunite them, making promises and bargains, and maybe getting messages from the entity about what it wants them to do in exchange for being together again. One or both can know about that, and it can be anything from something fairly innocent like smoking the red dope every night for a week or revealing secrets to each other to sexytimes. I also really like the idea that the entity sex pollens them with the red dope or just mind control, and they both feel guilty afterward for a while before they realize they both wanted it anyway. 
  • What if one has to watch the other have sex with someone else, maybe in some cult ritual where others are watching or just with the audience of one brother. It can be to entice the other to finally act, or as a punishment because the entity knows he wants his brother and did something to piss it off. Like one has to do this, but if the other one stops it and does it instead, that’s fine too. Justin in particular throwing Hal or somebody off Aaron and finishing the job seems like a good idea. Or maybe they have to have sex in front of the others, each thinking the other’s horrified (until later) but it’s that or face the entity’s wrath. 
  • You could also build up some mythology about the thing in setting something up. Like someone else was in that position and the entity possessed them or broke their mind or tortured them or something, so they know that resistance would be futile. Even without sex, genuinely anything that will draw them together will be great. 
  • Maybe one of them gets taken and put back without memories (for a while; I wouldn’t want that to be permanent) and the other brother has to keep him near and try to help him remember and understand what’s going on, and maybe deal with some intense attraction since the amnesiac doesn’t have those brotherly feelings yet.
  • Maybe the entity wants Aaron to be the decision-maker for the two of them for a while in general. What if the entity sex pollened one of them to the point he can’t stop touching and trying to have sex with the other? Or they can just get less platonic without supernatural help, one or both feeling guilty about lingering touches and hugs that go on too long, or waking up too close together. 

Any exploration of their dynamic that's shippy and/or sexy with one of the tags will be great. Even with bleak themes, please end it at least hopeful with them not at odds or fighting.
