Thank you in advance for writing one of these fandoms for me! Some requests are new to me, and some fandoms generate more ideas, especially if I've requested them a lot. A shorter section than some others doesn't mean I love or want a fandom any less.

I love this move for having Montgomery Clift and John Ireland with gun belts slung around their narrow hips while they fondle and admire each other's guns and shooting prowess. I mean, that's it. That's the movie.

Okay, unfortunately that's not the whole movie, and John Ireland isn't in the film nearly as much as I would have liked. But the scenes they share are so charged with sexual tension and what seem to be knowing looks. Rumor is that they were having a behind-the-scenes affair, and it would certainly help explain the way they look at each other.

The movie's good in general, with John Wayne playing a pretty gruff bastard who took in Clift's character (Matt) as a child and raised him basically like his son, and the son's starting to have issues with the way Wayne's character does things. Lots of good stuff between them, which helps create the Matthew Garth character and make him more complex, but the movie will always stick in my mind for the interactions between Matt and Cherry. The writers were so clever with innuendos when they had to be, and the performances send them over the top.

If you need more convincing:

• The 'show me yours and I'll show you mine' scene. Walter Brennan's prediction that they're going to tangle, for sure, will never not make me smile.
• A collection of relevant scenes, including "I've taken a liking to that gun of his." I mean, really. (I'm also tickled by the brief clip where Cherry comes running to help carry the woman who passed out after Matthew sucked poison out of her shoulder wound (yes, gross). Of course Cherry noticed her slapping him, because he was probably staring at them with jealousy. *cough*)
• The whole movie on YouTube.

Any freeform is a great choice that I'll enjoy, from the hurt/comfort of one helping the other to sex. Just give them more things to do together in some way!

Rope (1948)

This request is an exception to my standard DNW of choking. I feel like they both might have a bit of choking kink, and I can see Brandon getting more into it than Phillip, and him going far enough to scare Phillip at some point (since this seems standard for their relationship). Though Phillip is the one who does the actually choking in the film, so interpret it however you want.

It's pretty easy to imagine that Brendan, who seems to have nothing but joy after the murder, manipulated Phillip into doing it, because he's obviously upset afterward. Brendan as a manipulator and Phillip as someone doting on him and manipulated is an obvious interpretation.

You can also soften that through a canon divergence that has one killing the other's abusive ex, or to protect their partner or them getting away with it. Anything along those lines, to party scenes with Rupert and others while they're trying to hide what they did, all the way to sex would be great! I'm going to enjoy anything involving these two.

Here's the opening scene, if you haven't seen it. The movie is a taut Hitchcock thriller I recommend on the basis of the movie alone. I love Hitchcock films, and I love watching Farley Granger in anything, and even though Brendan and Phillip are referred to as friends in the movie data, they're clearly coded as a couple, making it even more fun for me.

Another favorite Hitchcock film with Farley Granger lighting up the screen and Robert Walker ensuring you can't look away. If you haven't seen it, watch the scene where they meet and picture it as an awkward meet-cute instead of Bruno angling to find someone to help him commit murder. Totally believable, right? But for me, it's made even better because Bruno, who's a clever but terrible piece of work, has murder on his mind.

I'd be happy with Bruno not just extorting a return-the-favor murder, but also sexual favors out of Guy. I have a noncon DNW but I'll waive it for that tag. If could lean more into dubcon than noncon, though, or have it start as noncon and morph into Guy enjoying it despite his horror, I'd appreciate it.

Bruno spying on him, manipulating him because he wants him and developing feelings, and anything along those lines would be great. Demanding sex to not go to the police fits pretty seamlessly into the story, and I'd love for Guy to enjoy even if he feels guilty or embarrassed by it. Giving in because he "has to" even though he secretly wants it? I love that stuff.

I also like the idea that Bruno has watched Guy enough to now he secretly wants to be with a man despite being married, and helps him realize that dream whether guy is ready to or not.

The last tag is a great choice for a story without sex, just all the relationship and interaction stuff that Bruno pulls with Guy leading to feelings. I look forward to anything you come up with for any of these freeforms!

I'll enjoy anything from sexual tension and shippy feelings to sex. I do really like the idea of Overkill's hands being unusable so he needs Dot's help, or him being unable to control them, which means he can't stop them from grabbing her to pull her close or try to do sexual things.

The freeform about overstimulation by oversensitive new cyberware seemed designed just for him, though I'm not the one who came up with that!

Put them together in whatever way as long as there are feelings and I'll be a happy gal.

I want Tom to want Greg and for Greg to want him back, basically, even if they're both twisted up about showing it. Something about the idea that Tom thinks Greg just wants to have kinky sex as a means to an end, having an orgasm, and discovering that it means more than that for Greg really appeals to me.

Everyone on this show is horrible, but in many ways I think Tom is the most moral. At least he initially planned to do the right thing over the sexual assault allegations. He was going to do right by those women! And everyone else conspired to make sure it wouldn't happen. He also resigned himself to going to jail. He's better than he thinks he is, (but yes he's still pretty bad, just better than the rest, mostly, IMO).

Tom being the one touch-starved, easy to arouse and get off, saying too much would be great. Greg confessing things while drunk or drugged would be great too. We know he's a panicky high, so it fits. Maybe when he and Tom went out on the town he didn't sleep in a separate room? Maybe things happened? Really any scenario works for me, though, as long as they like each other in the end.

It's a crying shame there weren't more scenes between Darryl and Cameron besides the one in the end. It's really a shame Darryl wasn't in most scenes, a far as I'm concerned, because he was the most compelling one to watch in the entire film.

I know the sibling relationship wasn't the point, but it would have been amazing to see them interact more and witness the push-pull of that messed up relationship in a sequel or a longer movie.

I like to think that Darryl really did care in some way about Cameron and wanted his brother with him for reasons beyond Cameron also being one of the most powerful scanners in existence. I really like the idea that Darryls just strong enough to keep Cameron from leaving or defeating him in a scan-off, and he keeps them there to try to convince him of his vision.

The dialogue in that final scene about Darryl looked for him and cares for him, how they'd be together and how he'd suck his brain dry . . . well, yes, my mind went to the shippiest of places. I like scenarios from Darryl keeping him captive to Cameron staying to try to convince Darryl of the evil of his ways, to Darryl being convinced that the only person in the world who can ever understand and care for him is his brother and pushing the idea of them being everything to each other.

I'm fine with serious dubcon here, with Darryl telepathically turning Cameron on an even getting him off, but not straight up noncon. I'd like there to be at least secret want on Cameron's part up to genuine affection and caring as he comes around ot the idea.

Scenarios where they meet earlier and have attraction/an affair to Darryl finding him earlier and doing sexy things with his mind are great, too.

This is such an old and beloved fandom for me. I don’t care if you choose Nick/LaCroix or Janette/Nick/LaCroix, or whether it’s set right after Nick became a vampire, during the show or post-finale.

I love LaCroix’s obsession with Nick and inability to let him go, and Nick’s love/hate feelings for LaCroix that change over the centuries. They were a family of three in the earliest years and for a very long time, and Janette was the one who brought Nick into the fold, so the three of them interacting and happy together is not only canon but something I love.

Nick and Janette were canonically a couple for years, and though the show never confirmed a threesome, the shots of LaCroix turning him are horny as hell. You can’t convince me those three weren’t sharing a single bed for a long time. If they missed out on that, it would be a travesty.

I'm not looking for Nick/Janette with LaCroix on the side, though. LaCroix needs to be a genuine part of the pairing, whether with two or three.

There’s canon ring-kissing, hand-clasping, neck-clasping, standing way too close, drinking blood from each other, LaCroix slamming Nick against things, LaCroix telling Nick he belongs to him and will never be free of him, and LaCroix angrily wiping blood off Nick’s mouth with his fingertip and sucking it. Love it all.

If at some point in whatever story you write and you're moved to write it, if LaCroix could dispense with the finger wipe and lick blood off Nick’s lips or face, or vice-versa, well, I’ll be a happy gal.

My favorite thing about Nick and Cody is that they are constantly in each other's personal bubble in a way that would feel awkward to most people, even the closest of friends. The whole show is like they're lovers who just haven't figured that out yet. When one sits down the other practically sits in his lap, and neither of them bat an eye.

They really rub against my love of loyalty and devotion. And of course they've been there for each other through thick and thin, took care of each other in Vietnam, live together, sleep in the same room and even work together. There's only one way for them to get closer, and if you want to go there I will be on board, but it's also great if you write them getting to shippy without sex.

I'd really rather avoid a bunch of angst about being gay or bi in the 80s, but I do like when one is afraid to make it known because they worry about damaging the friendship, and the happiness when it's revealed that of course nothing could damage the friendship and they felt the same all along, yay!

Love first times for them, whether with revelation of feelings or all the way to sexy times, and really prefer getting together fic over established relationship fic unless you're in a hurry to get the sexytimes right up front, which is also fine!

I love that Marcus and Tomas are both flawed but strong and fit so well together, as friends and brothers in arms, and in my view the UST screams out of the TV. I do want more than friendship, hence the /, but sex isn't required for me to be all heart-eyes about it. I don't care whether you choose S1 or S2 or go post-canon, with a new take on something that's already happened or a brand new situation altogether.

Any characters you want to add are welcome, because I enjoyed the show as a whole. What I'd like most is to maintain that kind of thing that shows their friendship and devotion, and the more hand-clasping and nape-touching you can get in there, the better.

Fandom-specific DNWs: Don't make god a hero in the story. No divine intervention that saves the day, please. And no Marcus/Tomas/Devon or anybody else. References to Marcus/Peter are fine as long as what he felt and their kiss serve to open him up to being with Tomas, but I don't want it a focus or him pining for Peter. Marcus/Peter can even be in the story (Hey, I liked Peter!) but I'd want there only as a way for Marcus to realize what he really wants, which is Tomas.

• A focus on bodily fluids or excretions except sweat, tears and where mentioned, blood; come play or eating (swallowing after oral sex is fine)

To clarify on the surprise serious illness, things like referencing canon trauma is fine but someone having a stroke or a life-threatening non-canon disease is a big no. Injuries are different. A character could get shot in something like a hurt/comfort or casefic scenario, things like broken bones, wounds (physical and mental) and even more minor injuries are fine as long as they'll heal.
