I know the only scene with these two together is the short, penultimate scene, but the whole scanner/mind control premise of the movie and these two together for a few minutes was all it took.

If it's a been a while for you: *deep breath* Darryl has kidnapped Cameron and Kim, and is just chilling in his office when Cameron wakes up on his couch, so he reveals that Dr. Paul Ruth was their father and that Cameron is actually his little brother and that he's the only one who has ever cared about Cameron and now that he's finally found him he wants Cameron to join him so they can rule over puny humanity together.

All the things Darryl says to him and his easy intrusion into Cameron's personal space are so great. He's been counting on Cameron for years, and his sincerity in wanting him to understand really works for me, even though he's obviously got a hair-trigger and is a bit unhinged (I like that in a character, apparently). When Cameron resists his ideas, Darryl drops down in front of him (*yodels*) and asks him to tell him he's not going to betray him like all the rest. When Cameron refuses and crowns him with a paperweight, Darryl decides he's going to have Cameron with him forever by (telepathically) sucking his brain dry.

"Everything you are is going to become me. You're going to be with me, Cam, no matter what. After all, brothers should be close, don't you think?"

I mean *gestures at that dialogue* . . . *gestures again*. What's not to love? How am I supposed to resist that?

Revok's a dark guy, it's not hard to see why, and I really like that aspect of him. He can do so much with his mind and isn't bothered by things like boundaries. Hello there, nice to meet you, Mr. Tortured Villain. Come in and sit a spell.

I really like the promise of dubious consent (physically and mentally) and the implied threat of force that would probably be underlying everything. I like the idea of Darryl genuinely wanting Cameron on his side as well as wanting more from him and not caring that they're brothers. Maybe them being brothers is part of why he wants him, because he sees how it could be them against the world. He did say that everyone else betrayed him, after all.

Prompts:

Okay, that scene. Darryl is no dummy, and he has the ability to get into people's minds. You can't convince me he didn't notice Chekhov's paperweight while Cameron was fondling it with no idea that it was going to go off. Did he merely want to give his brother every opportunity to change his mind? Did he think he'd be able to convince him and it wouldn't happen? He could not have been surprised by that. Feel free to change it so that the blow doesn't happen and/or explore Darryl's thoughts about it.
An idea I really like is a story diverging from the ending, with Darryl managing to subdue Cameron and not kill him despite his threats to do so. He was just angry, right? Maybe once he gets into Cameron's mind a little he calms down and just decides to control him instead of killing him. I want Darryl to genuinely want to win Cameron over to his cause (and other things) because he needs Cameron to care about him in the same way. He wants them to be brothers-in-arms.
Once he has control of Cameron and they both know he's stronger and could kill him easily if he wanted, he can threaten to kill Kim to get Cam's compliance, or he can let her go to keep Cameron there. I'd rather he didn't kill or hurt her, but I'm not married to what actually happens beyond that.
I really like the idea of Darryl making it clear that he could make Cameron do anything he wanted like a puppet on a string, but he wants Cameron to want to be there helping him. And at some point he wants Cameron to want him, and forcing sex wouldn't be the same. Maybe he'd go as far as angrily kissing him like he's going to go farther, a little groping, make Cameron think he’s going to, and stop because he really does want Cameron to want him at least a little. And I’m okay with a seriously dubcon scene as long as he knows Cam does actually want what’s happening, even if he doesn’t want it at the same time.
I would enjoy sex between them, whether physical or mental or both, but it's not required for me to enjoy the story. The pining and fucked-upness of the mind control aspect, and Cameron maybe starting to give in a little and feel something, would be enough. But I do also really like the idea of Darryl at least being handsy with him (touching his hair when he's got a Scanner headache, the neck massage tag, etc. ).
Darryl trying to show Cameron how great they'd be together by putting images of them having passionate sex into Cameron's mind sounds delicious. This would also be great in a different first meeting AU where he seduces Cameron telepathically, and later Cam finds out they're brothers, like in that last scene.
I really like the idea of him using his Scanner power to make Cameron come untouched as if he's showing him what he can do and trying to seduce him and show his power and dominance (and Cameron not being happy about it at first and then liking it, even if he hates that he does).
Darryl's scar in the middle of his forehead is a great place for a surprisingly tender kiss (even if it's Darryl imagining it and sending it to Cameron and accidentally revealing how much he just wants to be cared for). Or it can happen after Cam has come around to caring about him even if just a tiny bit.
Cameron could be the one touching Darryl's hair at some point as he stops being resistant. I also like the idea that he pretends to be more controlled than he is because he wants to try to convince Darryl that they should forge a different path and be heroes rather than villains with their powers or something.
Cameron realizing Darryl wants him as more than a brother and using that to seduce him to try to gain an advantage but ending up with feelings is a great scenario, too. Especially if he tells himself he's only getting down with his brother to protect himself or Kim or humanity but he also knows he wants it too.
He had to feel quite a lot when he realized that was his brother in the old patient footage after Darryl tried to drill the hole in his head. I'd like to think Cameron might try to save him and bring him around from the dark side, and if not, stay there to try to sabotage the worst of his plans from the inside, but wanting to protect him, too.
I'd also enjoy a canon divergence where Darryl found Cameron before Dr. Ruth and took him in, taught him what he was and how to control it, and slowly revealed all the relevant information whether he was using mind control for other things or not.
I'd prefer an ending that's nothing like the movie death, but it doesn't have to be hearts and flowers, either. I don't want total bleakness or hopelessness, but dubious feelings and/or confusion all the way up to relative happiness are okay. If some ideas like those are too plotty, don't worry! Any encounter between them works for me as long as there’s at least some kind of sexual tension, and more than that is great, too.
I like the idea of Darryl watching Cameron earlier in the movie and putting ideas in his head like making him imagine passionate sex and pleasure with Darryl as the person making love to him, or making him come from afar while Darryl imagines the day they'll be together as brothers and more. Damn near anything sexy between the two at any point is something I want to read.
I like the idea that in the end (or at any point), Cameron suffers a mindbreak and Darryl cares for him and helps him recover. I just figure if he caused it, unintentionally while trying to absorb him at the end, even better. It gives him something to make up for.
Amnesia in Cameron at any point during the film or after the end when Darryl wins could be great. If Darryl takes care of him after, he could lie about all kinds of things to get Cameron on his side, and in his bed. When Cameron remembers who they are, he can be horrified at first as long as he's starting to come around to it eventually.

I've watched this movie and Resolution enough times that you should feel free to use any characters and/or references from either that you want to. I love how the creepiness and mystery build with implication and lack of information rather than spelling everything out, so I don't need hard answers about anything plot-related.

This fandom is an exception to my DNWs of major character death (as long as they loop back) and self-harm/suicide, as long as it's to reset a loop.

The relationship between Justin and Aaron is fascinating and codependent, and any exploration of that will be a winner. Justin got him out of the cult and takes care of him, but he's got such strange ways of protecting him, like telling him that all the men in the cult are castrated and that Anna is a pedophile who paid Aaron too much attention when he was little. The sexual nature of so many of his lies and exaggerations make one wonder things, like maybe he's got feelings he's trying to suppress and he does so with unpleasant sexual information and references, or why else?

Was everything okay until Justin started to worry that Aaron might be interested in someone else in the camp, and leaving was partly prompted by him wanting Aaron to himself? Or did he want that and worry that Hal or someone else might realize his feelings for his brother and shame him, so they left?

What's Hal's whole deal and the way he looks at the brothers, especially Justin? And the way Anna stares daggers at Hal sometimes, like when he wanted Justin to join in and take the rope? Fill in the blanks and/or just get some people together.

I like him having great reasons to take Aaron and leave (I mean, it is a cult waiting for an alien/entity to take them away, and all), but a hint of his jealousy or possessiveness factoring into it makes it even more interesting to me.
Maybe Hal or someone else figured out how Justin felt about Aaron and didn't discourage him because when the cult members came of age they all shared more than beer and it would be accepted, and maybe Justin didn't want that for Aaron because he hated the thought of anyone else being with him. Maybe Aaron was jealous of Justin's relationship (innocent or not) with Hal or someone else and acting out, so they left. Maybe Aaron was supposed to be with Anna because the cult said so or something, and Justin didn't want that.
If you want to set something after the film, do they wake up back in the camp one day and have to leave all over again? Do they somehow figure out they're in a time loop that may go back even as far as the car accident? Does Justin wonder if they're dead and in some time-loop purgatory and question reality altogether? Is being out of the camp the dream and his nightmare of being stuck there his reality? Does the entity send them messages beyond the video of the cult saying goodbye?
Aaron dies in the camp and Justin has to push into the time loop premise to try to go back and save him. I know I DNW major character death, but this is an exception because we’ll assume he will eventually not stay dead and that Justin will save him and brak them out. The story can go that far, or he can get through loop once, rescue Aaron, and Aaron dies again as long as it ends with the clear indication that Justin’s going around again, and he knows eventually he’ll get it right. Alternately, Justin dies and Aaron has to save him in the same way.
Any missing scene would be great, whether between the brothers or dealing with one pining for or being jealous or possessive of the other. I thought there was amazing chemistry between Justin and Hal and ship them too. Maybe when Hal takes Justin to show him the equation, Aaron gets jealous because he thinks one or both want to be with the other. I think seeing one or both of them more jealous than was shown in the film. I don’t think Justin’s jealousy was romantic or sexual in the film, but he clearly wants to be the focus of Aaron’s attention, so leaning hard into that and taking it further into romantic or sexual desire would be great.
Maybe Aaron knows Justin is in love with him/wants him and even though they're both conflicted, he likes it and flirts extra hard with Anna (or Hal) to try to push Justin to admit it or show it more openly. Or Justin does the flirting in the hopes of getting a reaction from Aaron. They don't communicate well with words, so these things fit with their characters, IMO.
The entity likes to send them things. What if it sent Justin photos or video of Aaron having sex with someone else? Anna, or Hal, or a total stranger? Justin hides that he knows but seethes with jealousy and hurt (and guilt for wanting his brother), and when they have a confrontation about it, it turns out that the images are the fantasies Aaron has about Justin with other people plugged in. Maybe pre- or post-film the entity sends Justin video where Aaron is talking to him through it and confessing that he wants him, maybe while touching himself or something. Doesn’t Justin believe it’s real or doubt it? What happens? There are so many possibilities in this universe.
I also really like the idea that the entity makes it clear that if Justin doesn't have sex with Aaron, someone else is going to because it’s going to make that happen whether Aaron wants it or not (and maybe it’s someone Aaron’s afraid of, or dislikes). So Justin's essentially forced into sleeping with him while secretly wanting that anyway (and Aaron wanting it too, deep down), and both think the other is probably horrified, then SURPRISE, they're not (after plenty of angst, of course). This can be while in the camp, or maybe even after they’re out the entity still has a hold on them.
I like the idea of Justin and Aaron getting separated into two of the zones in the camp. They get desperate and maybe even pray to whatever force is causing it to reunite them, making promises and bargains, and maybe getting messages from the entity about what it wants them to do in exchange for being together again. One or both can know about that, and it can be anything from something fairly innocent like smoking the red dope every night for a week or revealing secrets to each other to sexytimes. I also really like the idea that the entity sex pollens them with the red dope or just mind control, and they both feel guilty afterward for a while before they realize they both wanted it anyway.
What if one has to watch the other have sex with someone else, maybe in some cult ritual where others are watching or just with the audience of one brother. It can be to entice the other to finally act, or as a punishment because the entity knows he wants his brother and did something to piss it off. Like one has to do this, but if the other one stops it and does it instead, that’s fine too. Justin in particular throwing Anna or Hal or somebody off Aaron and finishing the job seems like a good idea. Or maybe they have to have sex in front of the others, each thinking the other’s horrified (until later) but it’s that or face the entity’s wrath.
You could also build up some mythology about the thing in setting something up. Like someone else was in that position and the entity possessed them or broke their mind or tortured them or something, so they know that resistance would be futile. Even without sex, genuinely anything that will draw them together will be great.
Maybe one of them gets taken and put back without memories (for a while; I wouldn’t want that to be permanent) and the other brother has to keep him near and try to help him remember and understand what’s going on, and maybe deal with some intense attraction since the amnesiac doesn’t have those brotherly feelings yet.
Maybe the entity wants Aaron to be the decision-maker for the two of them for a while in general. What if the entity sex pollened one of them to the point he can’t stop touching and trying to have sex with the other? Or they can just get less platonic without supernatural help, one or both feeling guilty about lingering touches and hugs that go on too long, or waking up too close together.

Any exploration of their dynamic that's shippy and/or sexy with one of the tags will be great. Even with bleak themes, please end it at least hopeful with them not at odds or fighting.

What always struck me about these two was how Herbert was clearly unhinged and got more so as the movies went, but Dan kept hanging in there with him. After Meg died at the end of the first film, instead of breaking all ties for all the pain Herbert brought into his life, he goes to Peru with him because he’s obviously devoted to the work (and Herbert) at that point, no matter what.

He doesn’t even managed to break it off in the second film, when he really, really should have. Canon has him previously turning state’s evidence before the main part of the third film, set 13 years later, but I ignore that and have some fix-it ideas.

These two are very physical with each other from the beginning, whether it’s leaning or a hand on the arm (or Herbert wrapping Dan in a blanket and touching his hand--!). And the director focused on these things in an interesting way.

One of my favorite moments is in Bride of Re-Animator when Dan presents Herbert with their creation. He’s awed and approaches them, and the first thing he does is grab Dan’s hand in a definitive squeeze. “We did it,” he says, giving Dan an equal part in their achievement and making a point of that. Dan’s holding her hand, and soon enough Herbert touches her specifically, but his first instinct was to squeeze Dan’s hand. And the whole shot is just that. Bee-yootiful. More of that kind of thing, please!

I firmly believe that Herbert doesn’t really care about people as much as he cares about defeating death and reaching his goals. He doesn’t care about individual people at all, except Dan. Dan’s the one living person Herbert does give a damn about, and that’s one of the things that makes their relationship so great, IMO.

Some ideas I really like:

Dan's face when Herbert starts insulting Hill after they've just met is amazing. Just watch his face when Halsey's trying to smooth it over while they're all standing there. It's like 'wow this guy is arrogant' and the way he looks down with this little shocked expression, seeming almost impressed. And then Herbert looks directly at Dan and their gazes lock while Halsey's talking to Hill. It's such a great moment. We can't really see Herbert's expression, but he seems to be staring intently in Herbert's typical resting 'fuck you' face whenever Hill's in the room. Honestly, it could be read as Bruce Abbott on the verge of smiling or laughing and ruining the take but managing to hang on in the end, but I like to see what passes over Dan's face while he and Herbert are staring at each other as an "oh no he's hot" moment. You can explore that as such a moment, or if not, show what he was thinking.
It's a similar thing when they're in class and Herbert's snapping pencils. Watching Dan watch him is such a delight. And when Meg's complaining about Herbert and Dan admits he's a little cracked with a strange look on his face, and you can hear the implied "but I don't mind" or even "but I like it so it's okay." I'll enjoy anything dealing with Dan coming to terms with his sudden interest in an arrogant, slightly cracked Herbert
I'm always down for one of them discovering he died and was brought back with (an obviously more refined) reagent and all the emotions and fallout from that.
A fix-it for the third film. Preferably a short time span than 13 years, maybe just a year or so, and Herbert gets out of prison, either through a technicality or an escape. He goes to find Dan, not for revenge or anything, but maybe for help (if he escaped) or just to get some answers about why he betrayed him. But it turns out Dan only turned state’s evidence to prevent the government or some other villain from killing Herbert or worse and he hasn’t been able to contact him. Maybe Dan breaks him out and explains, even. As long as they get back together.
Or maybe Carl Hill’s head got regenerated yet again and he bat-winged his way to Dan and hypnotized him to do it, and Dan’s been under his control for the whole time while Hill’s been trying to get him to reproduce the reagent or do his bidding while he’s working on it. I’m okay with it if he took other liberties with Dan too, giving Herbert even more reason to kill him again, but just controlling his mind and making him betray Herbert would be plenty. The aftermath of Dan getting free of that control and Herbert helping him through it would be amazing.
If you can think of some other reason for an unwilling betrayal, I’m sure that’d be great, too. I’m after Herbert’s alarm when he discovers that Dan didn’t want to betray him and has been in a prison of his own the whole time, even if it’s just one of guilt.
Any situation where Dan carries Herbert – to bed because he’s collapsing with exhaustion; to a room where he can help him inject reagent; because he’s rescued him from someone or somewhere and he’s injured; because he’s been attacked by one of his creations. Any reason at all. I just love the caretaking. That leads me to the hands tags.
The focus on their hands and hand-touching/clasping in the films sends me. So that will obviously make me happy. I also really like the idea of Herbert’s hands being injured somehow (nothing that won’t heal). Maybe involuntary spasms for a while could lead Dan to help him eat or get dressed. I think he’d handle his basic hygiene on his own even if it hurt, he’s clever enough, but helping him bathe wouldn’t be out of the question, or helping him work.
Herbert’s line about Dan thinking with his big head and not his little head stands out. He was so jealous of every woman who looked Dan’s way, but I’d like to see him and Dan both realize that as long as Dan’s thinking about him, Herbert’s fine with his little head doing some thinking. It can even be a revelation to Herbert, realizing how much he really does want Dan. Dan realizing that Herbert never touches anybody but him could be a result or the catalyst. Herbert doesn’t even like to shake people’s hands, wouldn’t even touch Dan the first time they met, then quickly couldn’t stop touching him every whipstitch. I love that.
If Herbert creates a new reagent, while trying to keep people from coming back crazed and wrong, and tests it on himself, and it turns out to serve as some kind of sex pollen, that would be a-okay. Especially if he’s really suffering and determined not to push himself on Dan, so Dan has to take charge to make sure he’s okay. Alternately, Dan can be the one accidentally dosed somehow, maybe a spill or something that absorbs through his skin, and Herbert has to take care of him.
Other tags deal with other things I love, like Herbert and/or Dan with their sleeves rolled up (and Herbert’s tie tucked in, which I’ve always loved). Dan pulling him in by the tie for a kiss would be great, if they reach that kind of point in the relationship. Rescuing each other. Bedsharing because of nightmares or to protect the other (from someone else or themselves), hand-touching/holding, Herbert being so proud of Dan for what he’s learned and how much he can do. I love this film, with Farley Granger lighting up the screen and Robert Walker ensuring you can't look away. If you haven't seen it, watch the scene where they meet and picture it as an awkward meet-cute instead of Bruno angling to find someone to help him commit murder. Totally believable, right? But for me, it's made even better because Bruno, who's a clever but terrible piece of work, has murder on his mind.

I still haven't read the book, but I understand the book's even shippier than the movie, so lean into that all you want.

I love dubcon for this, but I do want there to be some affection and warm feelings, especially on Bruno's part. I'm okay if the feelings are only sexual for Guy or if he starts to feel closer to Bruno too.

Any scenario where Bruno has the upper hand and uses it to get close to Phillip, or Phillip tries to free himself from Bruno's influence but can't quite get there, will be great!

Bruno doesn't just extort a return-the-favor murder, but also sexual favors out of Guy. This can be super duper dubcon, but no outright non-con. Basically, have Bruno manipulate or menace Guy and/or get him hot, and I'll be happy.
Bruno spying on him, manipulating him because he wants him and developing feelings, and anything along those lines would be great. Demanding sex to not go to the police fits pretty seamlessly into the story, and I'd love for Guy to enjoy even if he feels guilty or embarrassed by it. Giving in because he "has to" even though he secretly wants it.
Bruno has watched Guy enough to now he secretly wants to be with a man despite being married, and helps him realize that dream whether guy is ready to or not.
All the manipulation! Bruno manipulating Guy! Guy reluctantly getting turned on by him! Guy thinking he's gaining favor with Bruno and getting out of their deal by seducing him!
Any situation where Guy is blackmailed into sex or has to do it to prove his loyalty (and it's not baked into the tag, but if Bruno forced Guy to have sex with someone else while he watched (and maybe even offered Guy up himself and led the encounter) to prove this loyalty, it would not hurt my feelings).
Basically any creepy, obsessive, jealous, possessive things Bruno could do or say in the course of manipulating Guy and getting him into bed. He can threaten to do or say just about anything to get sexual favors with Guy not sure he'd be believed if he refused and decided to let Bruno go through with his threats.

An Evil story can be super dark, creepy, full-bore horror, but I'd prefer it not end dark or bleak. I like happy or at least hopeful endings.

I chose both the & and / for these three, and I'll honestly enjoy either. Canon-typical shenanigans with David, Kristen, and Ben would be great, whether missing scenes from the show or something new. I love the way they interact, period. If you opt for / it can be with or without actual sex. I like flirting, sexual tension, and heavy foreshadowing that they'll get together in the future, if you don't want to write sex.

Anything that demonstrates the love, respect and trust between any of the mains. Like when Ben made the deep fake of Leland for Kristen, just trusting what she said to be true, and how she trusted him to do that. And how Ben works for David, not the church, because he trusts and cares about David. How David confided in Kristen about the mushrooms and how they have this thing going on between them. Anything highlighting trust and loyalty would be so great.
The season that just ended raises all sorts of possibility, and I'm totally okay if they have a threesome that turns out to only be part of David's hallucination. In fact, I really really like that idea, especially with him having lustful thoughts after while he's around them knowing what's happening at night isn't real and struggling to stop thinking about it, wanting it and taking part in it when the opportunity arises.
If you write sex, it can be 100% consensual or under-the-influence of something and I'll enjoy it either way. Just please make it natural and spontaneous without negotiations or rules or "formal" agreements, even if it's a stone-cold sober decision. No discussion at all would work, too.
I love dubcon, so it can be dubcon all day long, but please no outright noncon between these characters. However, one or more can feel guilty as if they nonconned one or both of the others, as long as that's resolved by the end.
Along those lines, maybe they're influenced by demons or some force that thinks having them all together will destroy their relationships, but of course it has the opposite effect. The devil can think that some dubcon threesome where they double-team Kristen or where David or Ben has sex with the other is going to make them avoid each other, but joke's on you, bad guy, they secretly wanted it anyway, so there.
Maybe David and Kristen could be in another scenario like at the farm and Ben shows up, and that's how it happens. Maybe he shows up in that episode, the night David and Kristen first kissed, and things ensue. Any situation like that's going to be good by me.
The three of them can also be together without any sex with just serious flirting going on and maybe the implication that things are going to happen between them eventually, whether they're influenced by something or not.
The end of the season was devastating. More insight into them comforting Kristen when she told them about Andy, how she goes to them immediately after the end of the season (because surely she did run to tell them) and how they react.
The scenes from the Demon of the Road where they're in the car, singing and hanging out and just being best friends? I love that kind of thing, so more of that would be great. Road tripping for a case, getting stranded at a motel or anywhere, whether with friendship or romantic/sexual dynamics, would be great.
I'd love to see a scene where Ben just doesn't take in the information about Leland being on a child's app in quite so much stride but instead asks more questions and learns the whole story then informs Kristen and David, and what they might think and do about that. Ben and the kids are one of my favorite things, and him being something they trust to tell things even more, so if you want to go there, feel free!
I'm fine if they all, or two of the three, get dosed with David's mushrooms and either get sexy with each other or reveal shippy feelings to each other, or have some epiphanies about spiritual things or a case specifically, depending on where you want to take things.
Pick up where the season ends and take it in whatever direction you want, or focus more on a single case they had or a new one. Any situation from a dinner together to working to planning a 'yay you're not dead' party for Andy or dealing with her kids would be great. More show-like interactions is all I really need!
I'd also love to hear Ben's and Kristen's take on the magical glowing vagina-like portal (I can't help thinking that every time) that opens in the sky filled with saints in David's visions.

This request is an exception to my standard DNW of suffocation/choking. I can see Brandon going far enough to scare Phillip at some point (since Phillip being a little scared of him seems standard for their relationship). Though Phillip is the one who does the actual choking in the film, so interpret it however you want.

It's pretty easy to imagine that Brandon, who seems to have nearly erotic joy after the murder, manipulated Phillip into doing it, because he's obviously upset afterward. Brandon as a manipulator and Phillip as someone doting on him and manipulated is an obvious interpretation that I like a lot. I don't want formal dom/sub, but I think the dynamic between them would work really well with Brandon being the take-charge doer that he is .

I'd be happy for a story set before the film or in a canon divergence after where Rupert didn't come back or suspect and they got away with it. I also don't need warm fuzzies for this ship, but I'm also fine with fluffy getting together, first time or day in the life romantic stuff too. They can be in a fucked up and unhealthy relationship, their encounters can be dubcon because Brandon pushes Phillip too far too fast into things, or it can be about confident Brandon taking a less confident Phillip under his wing and them falling in love, and/or Brandon leading Phillip through his first time. I

I'll admit, I love uncertain, nervous Phillip (and Farley Granger looking afraid of something is one of my favorite things, so menace him all you want, if you're into that).

We only get to see Phillip after the act when he's progressively coming more undone, and I think it'd be nice to see him confident before that, or nervous and shy as he falls for Brandon, or alternately a very manipulated partner who's a little nervous and uncertain all the time because of it.
I think it'd really be interesting to see what led up to them killing David, or even them getting together in the first place. Brandon going from charming and loving to something darker could be great, with him being possessive. They can also be perfectly happy together and slowly start scheming how they'd kill someone if you want! Any exploration of their relationship will be great.
I don't want one to kill the other, but one can fear the other is planning to, particularly Phillip thinking Brandon might kill him. Maybe he only agreed to kill David because he felt like it was David or him. I'm totally okay if that threat was made, in fact.
I also like the idea of Brandon regularly threatening to kill Phillip or implying that he might, and that prompting Phillip to try to please him by giving into whatever he wants to do in bed or becoming more aggressive than usual and initiating sex. Brandon could also make it really clear that if gives a great blowjob or rides him (or whatever) really well, he'd want to keep hm around.
Brandon wants to start getting darker in bed and starts choking Phillip while they're having sex to cut off his air. Exploring that and how he'd justify it after and convince Phillip that it's a perfectly safe and fun thing to do could be fun, especially if Phillip is terrified but can't deny how erotic it was.
Brandon convincing Phillip to have a threesome could be fun if you wanted to write something along those lines, especially if the third person was David, and so Brandon decided he'd be the one, or set after that and Brandon suggests they kill someone else but have a threesome first to send him out happy. Phillip might be reluctant during the encounter with Brandon being totally into it, maybe encouraging the guy to fuck Phillip and showing him how Phillip likes to be choked right at last (especially if he knows he doesn't). I can imagine how smug and arrogant he'd be while looking at Phillip as he does all this, thinking he's clever to let the guy do what they're going to do to him.
Set before canon, Phillip gets attacked and Brandon rescues him but can't stop thinking about how hot it was to see Phillip being choked and helpless (with or without him knowing the guy meant to rape Phillip, and that turning him on too). It'd be a good opportunity for hurt/comfort and could lead to Brandon trying choking in bed (with permission or not) or getting rough like the man in something like a rape roleplay that Phillip has no idea about. Brandon could be the one Phillip rescues too and Phillip (or Brandon) can't stop thinking about it.
A post-canon story about Brandon taking care of Phillip and helping through his obvious trauma at what they did could be great too, especially if Brandon feels at least a little bad that Phillip's so messed up.
It could also go dark with Phillip leaving him afterward and Brandon being unwilling to let him go, using the leverage of what they did to keep Phillip coming to his bed whenever he wants.
Directly before the movie, a scene of them drinking and talking with David before they killed him could be fun, especially if Brandon keeps dropping hints and being pleased with himself while Phillip is getting increasingly nervous and wanting to back out.
What if they tried to do it before and one or both of them did screw it up or back out at the last minute. What took place between that and actually killing David could be fun to explore.

I'd love a story ranging from a missing scene(s) during canon, a canon divergence at any point after they met, or a post-canon tale. One or both can be hurt, tortured, turned in a vampire and/or menaced by a big bad Master, as long as they both stay alive (or undead).

I do want Jack and Adam to have actual feelings for each other underneath whatever's going on (and I'm happy for anything from getting together and purely shippy stuff to the horniest sex you want to write). I know Jack doesn't show much affection, or it comes with a slap in front of it, but I like to think he genuinely feels affection or more for the padre.

I love the ride-or-die and nobody gets to hurt you but me aspects of their relationship. Jack showing actual emotion toward Adam at some breaking point or because he's held it in so long would be great. All the tropes seem like they'd be great for this ship.

One thinking the other is dead, completely losing it, and finding them alive is a favorite of mine and would be interesting no matter which character thinks the other is dead. I can see Jack wanting to burn down the world and having an emotional moment to discover Adam alive. I can also see Adam being devastated and maybe behaving more like Jack than before, and losing it when he discovers he's alive (and Jack being smug about how relieved Adam is). Them each thinking the other was dead would make an amazing reunion .
One getting bitten and figuring that's the end, but it's not. Somehow they can stave off the transformation, or maybe they're on the trail of a cure so the bitten one becomes a vampire and has to travel with the other to get it. What happens? Is the cure difficult, maybe some religious blood magic/sex magic thing they have to do? There are a lot of fun possibilities.
Either for a cure or just to protect Jack, Adam has to have sex with the person offering. I don't want on-page non-con if the encounter is in the story (his fear/dread and fade to black are fine though) and he can be physically hurt after, as well as traumatized (or totally okay, too) and Jack has to take care of him. His discovery at what Adam did and how he feels about it would be worth exploring.
One of them has to pretend being evil or that they're betraying the other to work some plan to save them.
I can't really think of a plausible scenario for them pretending to be a couple, but that would be a blast to read. Maybe they need information from someone in a gay bar and somebody's all over Adam, so Jack puts a stop to it by pretending they're together? Or the Church sends them on some mission where they have to pretend to be a couple for some crazy reason?
I really like scenarios that involve some way for vampires to feed on humans without turning them unless they intend to. The discovery of some medicine, herb or ritual that makes a human immune to being turned from a simple bite could be so much fun. One of them who turns could feed on the other, for instance, while they're looking for a cure or just hunting other vamps.
The ability for a human to stay human after being bitten would also lend itself to a lot of other great stories. Like a Master wanting Adam as his personal blood supply and/or sex object, and Jack losing his mind. I would be okay with a story where it's heavily implied that there's non-con happening and Adam has to deal with that after Jack rescues him, but please don't have it on-page. (Unwanted kissing and touching while the Master's toying with him if is fine, just not non-con sex except off-page and implied please.)
I foolishly didn't pick the tags for it, but the almost any of the ones I did pick would fit into a "something made them do it" story, say if they got captured and the person or vampire who did makes Jack take Adam for his amusement under threat of killing Adam. Or vice-versa, and because Jack isn't just telling them to shoot him, Adam realizes maybe Jack wants him too?

Here we have the only canon I requested this time that doesn't revolve around horror or murder!

My favorite thing about Nick and Cody is that they are constantly in each other's personal bubble in a way that would feel awkward to most people, even the closest of friends. The whole show is like they're lovers who just haven't figured that out yet. When one sits down the other practically sits in his lap, and neither of them bat an eye.

And of course they've been there for each other through thick and thin, took care of each other in Vietnam, live together, sleep in the same room and even work together. There's only one way for them to get closer, and if you want to go there I will be on board, but it's also great if you write them getting to shippy without sex.

Feel free to include Murray if you want. I do like him being able to see that they love each other before the guys do and either doing nothing or nudging them ever so slightly towards each other. Them having to rescue him is always a winner too, or him teaming with one of the guys to rescue the other. But it's purely and & relationship. I don't want Boz romantically linked to either Nick or Cody, but he's free to have a love interest of any gender within the story as long as it's not one of them.

I'd really rather avoid a bunch of angst about being gay or bi in the 80s, but I do like when one is afraid to make it known because they worry about damaging the friendship, and the happiness when it's revealed that of course nothing could damage the friendship and they felt the same all along, yay!

I love first times for them, all the getting together scenarios, whether with just revelation of feelings or all the way to sexy times.

Peril and concern for each other, like one getting kidnapped for some reason and the other frantic to rescue them. And if the cops think the kidnapped one is dead but the other refuses to give up and accept that, I love that kind of stuff. One rescuing the other, doesn't matter which is which, is great.
Undercover as gay is a winner here. Maybe they have to pretend to be a couple for a case and it makes them realize some things. And if they're in a hotel or somewhere and, oh no, there's only one bed, all the better. Sex isn't necessary for me to enjoy the story even in a bedsharing situation, but if you want to write, I'll enjoy it!
Being mistaken as a couple by someone on the outside, a new person they're helping with a case, and that person explaining why they thought that could be good. Someone pointing out that straight heterosexual guys don't generally sit almost in each other's laps when there are several feet of space on either side of them might make them realize some things.
PTSD nightmares and flashbacks that have the other person comforting them, particularly with bedsharing, is great. I like one dreaming of the other dying and waking up frantic to grab ahold of him to assure himself he's okay. Lots of touching, holding, grabbing, that kind of thing. They're very handsy with each other, so more of that!
One gets shot while they're on a case, and they can't get to help right away so the other has to take care of them until help comes.
In any kind of danger situation, the whole "not him, take me instead" thing is fantastic both for the self-sacrifice of it but what it does to the other person. I like a lot of angst, as long as there's a happy ending. Also a fan of one being tortured to hurt the other in a hostage/kidnapping situation where they're trying to get information about something or just revenge, as long as the hurt one is rescued before it gets too bad.
For a lighter story, maybe the guys get invited to some conference and though they have the opportunity to date a couple gorgeous women, they prefer to hang out together instead. Feel free to have Murray there, maybe he drags them to something they're not looking forward to, and end up going off alone to do the same kinds of things they'd do on the Riptide, and start to realize what that means.
Some kind of party game they get roped into participating in, like a Newlywed Game or trivia-about-your-partner type thing, where in front of everybody they basically reveal how they have absolutely intimate knowledge of each other, maybe even with one of them joking they ought to date, could be great fun.
One getting jealous over the other is always great, as long as it ends up resolved with them together.

The things I like about these ships range from introspection and feelings about what's happened/happening, a deep desire to help and be helped, and genuine religious devotion and love toward the other, all the way to the horniest scenarios complete with blood drinking and biting. I'm really okay if the Angel is only in parts of a Riley/Paul story or if it's solely about Riley/Paul Hill.

I don't need a happy forever after for these pairings with this fandom. An ambiguous or open ending is fine, but I'd prefer it end before the canon did so it's not too bleak a note to stop on.

I don't see Paul as a villain/enemy, per se, even though he ended up being that, so in the tag where someone forgets the other is the enemy, Riley's memory being messed up and him not remembering that Paul's a vampire or something would be good. The villain forcing someone to kneel tag is more the Angel making them kneel to worship him (or whatever you want).

Paul's thoughts after waking up in the cave. What exactly did he think happened, how did he justify everything, and any creeping doubts he prayed away would be great. He seems like a smart guy with almost too much compassion who got caught up in the religious fervor of his beliefs. This fascinates me, so anything set at any point after he encounters the angel along those lines leading to Riley's turning and the aftermath would be great.
You can wallow in guilt here if you want, over the guilt of Paul's desires, the guilt of his joy at being young again and watching people restored to youth and better health, the guilt of wanting the Angel to feed from him or use his body, the guilt of wanting Riley. And Riley's guilt about the accident and about how his family must feel are fair game. Maybe his guilt after being made a vampire who could potentially be immortal after he killed that young woman in the car accident. Lots of good stuff to deal with there.
A fix-it that keeps Riley from killing himself or lets Paul and/or the Angel rescue him or prevent his death somehow would be great.
The Angel does seem to have some sort of regard for Paul, and I'd like that to be more than Paul being his ticket to that island, even if only a little. Maybe when Riley becomes a vampire thanks to the Angel, its regard (affection, even?) for these humans becomes clear. (I think it really wanted to be worshipped, and killing off its flock wouldn't help that cause, so maybe it wants to preserve rather than kill all the humans.)
You can explore Riley's and Paul's AA meeting conversations before Riley was turned, and maybe deal with the attraction coming through during those one-on-one conversations, before involving the angel. Or deal with the actual attack that turned him and Paul's involvement, or the aftermath.
Forced proximity where Riley has to stay with Paul longer than in canon, and one thing leads to another, and if you want, the Angel reappears because reasons. Paul taking care of Riley, involving bedsharing and very deliberate attention. Riley taking an offered wrist and feeding, and the eroticism of that. Him waking with Paul feeding from him and it becoming just a horny thing neither can control. Maybe the Angel is pleased by all this.
Maybe Paul has to take him out at night to let him feed, and has to deal with the erotic feelings at watching Riley feed from someone. Or the Angel shows up and things happen between all three. I'm pretty easy there.
I'm open to anything from tense and heated conversation to smut here, and while I do want Riley and Paul to care about each other (and I believe they do) one or both can be conflicted, guilty, uncertain about all of it. Maybe pushed further than they would go otherwise by the more primal presence of the Angel.

I really like the idea of Riley getting the memory of Paul wanting him and feeling guilty about it, touching himself thinking about Riley, that sort of thing (please have those memories and sexual thoughts of Riley from when he was at least 17 or 18). Paul could get Riley's memories of thinking about him too. And/or.
Drinking blood from as he's turning or after makes Paul find it difficult to control himself because the sexual urge to be with him is so strong. He can be shocked and disturbed at how much he wants Riley but feels unable to stop himself, and Riley as the new vampire can feel as distressed but be unable to resist.
