I added myself here or you can see what I posted

Names I go by: I've been Cousin Shelley everywhere for 25 years.

Other Places I Can Be Found:

Tumblr: Here, but I'm on a Tumblr break I'm not sure will be temporary. I used to be on Livejournal years ago, but I abandoned it after it was sold.

AO3: CousinShelley

The fannish platform(s) I am most active on is/are: AO3. I look at EAD and/or FFA on Discord every day or two and mostly lurk but sometimes have something to say. I've only started using my DW for more than exchange letters recently, but I do crawl around looking at journals and communities every so often.

My main contribution(s) to fandom is/are: Writing and reading are all I do. I also tend to comment widely, but haven't had as much reading time lately. My 'marked for later' list is ridiculous.

Link(s) to my Masterlist(s): Favorite fandoms and requests

Fandom(s) I enjoy: Oh, the list is long and at that link. I cycle in and out of what interests me this minute, but I never really let anything go and am happy to read/write in almost anything I've every loved. I'm not into any truly huge fandoms like Marvel, Star Wars or DC. I occasionally read something, usually in an exchange, but I don't find myself feeling really fannish about them.

My favorite people/characters in this/these fandom(s) are: I wouldn't know how to list them, far too many across too many fandoms. They're on the big list, though.

Pairing(s)/grouping(s) I ship within this/these fandom(s) is/are: They're at the link too. I tend toward m/m (Starsky/Hutch, Burt/Irving, Marcus/Tomas) but I have several het ships I like (Laszlo/Nadja, Dot/Overkill, Kristen/David, Abbie/Ichabod, Maeve/Hector for starters) and some OT3s (Wolfgang/Kala/Rajan, Kristen/David/Ben, Kendall/Roman/Shiv). My favorite f/f pairings are Tissaia/Yennefer, several from A League of Our Own, Isabel Lovelace/Renee Minkowski, Sun/Kala and a few others. Some of my favorites are sibling incest ships, so you know. I also really love ensembles like in Wellington Paranormal, WWDITS and BBC Ghosts. I love good gen and friendship fic. And funny gen and friendship fic? <3

The type(s) of fanwork(s) I consume the most is/are: Fic. I look at art in exchanges too. (fic/podfic/art/mixes/graphics/fanvids/meta/filk/picspams/etc…)

Fanwork tropes/clichés I enjoy are: All the tropes like only one bed, fake relationship/marriage, forced proximity, sex pollen (in spec canons only), something (like demonic possession for instance) made them do it, mutual pining, undying loyalty, temporary amnesia, hurt/comfort, and on and on and on. One character comforting another after a nightmare will never not do it for me, even if it's merely a friend.

I post/want to post mostly about: I only recently started posting to my DW. It's mostly been about fannish things so far, a little about freelancing and managing my schedule, mental health struggles, but a lot of the longest and most revealing stuff stays up for a few hours before I get nervous about it and hide it. There'll be a lot of writing schedule/word count posts and strategies I'm using to overcome procrastination and some of the bad habits. I have pretty severe OCD and anxiety/panic/depression issues, and increasingly I think ADHD, so that'll come up. And I may stop posting altogether in certain moods/times. I'm up and down that way.

I welcome more interaction in fandom spaces, but I'm usually unable to make myself reach out first. The last time I tried that on Discord, I regretted it. I deleted the message after a couple of months with no response so I could stop feeling awkward about it and keep myself from assuming the worst reasons for them not replying. I will probably follow some journals from this meme, but as far as reaching out one-on-one, I'm not likely to put myself in that position again, honestly, but I promise I'd enjoy hearing from anybody interested enough to say hi.
